Course Overview

The Breastfeeding Management Course is designed for nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants, outlining essential information to help the healthcare professionals provide evidence-based care, promote and support breastfeeding, maintain patient support skills and improve patient breastfeeding outcomes. This blended-learning course incorporates both classroom learning and online learning where participants are required to complete all the E-learning modules on breastfeeding before attending face-to-face session with a lactation consultant, followed by the skill practice and competency assessment.

 ·         To equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to transform the organisation into baby-friendly institution through the implementation of the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
